Art Journal "Trough the Dark Season" - MTW November Challenge

 

Times are dark right now. Both due to the pandemic going on and up here in the Northern Hemisphere we have turned into the dark season. This lasts from October until snow arrives and brighten up our world. Hopefully that will soon be, but if we are unlucky - we have to wait until January. Maybe that is why we embrace the colors of the nature, have glimmering lights in the windows and light candles every day. I read somewhere that in Sweden every houshold burn 75 candles in a week - that sounds crazy.

This is what this Art Journal spread is about. To embrace the surroundings. To look behind the grey and dark and see beauty in nature. To give myself and followers hope and comfort. And to say that it actually is ok to be sad, tired and isolated. Time will be brighter. Light will come back. And this pandemic WILL be over!!
