To be honest - we don´t celebrate Halloween much in our Family. It was not a big thing when I grew up, but the past years it has exploded. Even though my kids tend to nag on me to paint my face funny (or scary) I do not listen to them. We carv a pumpkin and eat lots of candy - that is it...
BUT when it comes to craft I actually made a couple of spooky projects this year. I just felt inspired and especially by the October Challenge (see bottom of this post) at More than Words. I love the combination of the word "Costume" & a black background and tried to simulate a black medieval dress.
I used both a lace stencil & a spiderweb stencil to create texture. Black embossing powder sprinkled randomly over the wet mediums make the page sparkle. I just love the frame from egoCraft and think it fit perfect for this project. Orange splatters take up the orange hair of the lady on the picture.
