With just a few days left until the big celebration I thought I would show you a set of gift tags today. Gift tags is something that can spruce up any gift and who would not be happy finding something personal and unique tied to the parcels under the tree? Making tags is also a perfect way of using up scraps of your favourite patterned papers – and I must say – the Yuletide Collection is one of my top favourites ever…
My first tag was actually a gift to the Yuletide Collections designer DeeDee. I had a really fun moment when creating this using scraps, die cuts, tags and stickers from the collection. I love the die cut star and how the hand wowed ribbon looks like it was made for the collection specific. If you look close you can see that I have stamped and embossed using the Yuletide Clear stamp (stars) and vanilla embossing powder.
For this second tag I used scraps from
the 6×6 paper pad. I simply covered the pre-made tags with strips of paper, then painted it with a white gesso and a dry brush. This gives the papers a “frosty” effect. To get a 3D effect I added some flowers and lace. I made die cut leaves using the Mistletoe paper and tucked under the flower.
A circle sticker from
the Yuletide Element sticker sheet work as a base for the sparkly brad and every project need at least one
Word Sticker. Splatters of Glimmer Mist and white High Impact paint give the tag extra shimmer.
Whit this I wish you a calm and peaceful Christmas and hope that I could inspire you today!
{I have used products from 7 Dots Studio, Tattered Angels, Wild Orchid Crafts, Prima Marketing.}
