New Year Cards - Scrap FX Design Team

 

I´m here today to show you my latest projects for Scrap FX Design Team - a set of New Year Cards.

Your really do not need that much stash to create great cards. I always rummage around my leftovers when creating cards and then compliment the stuff I find with pieces from my stash. I have used pieces of paper, tags & die cuts from 7 Dots Studio. I cut a piece of the chicken wire chipboard and used under my cluster, and sprayed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist for a bit of extra sparkle. 

 

The birds look really great as focal point - I painted them with a thin layer of Glimmer Mist, and that give them a settled sparkle, without destroying the text. 

 

I let the Sketchy Corners chipboard decide where to place my clusters. The Corners are quite similar in design, but opposite in orientation. Flowers and light colored pink/blue splatters of mist give the cards a frosted romantic look. 

 I´m looking forward to the New Year of 2017 to start. I hope it will bring loads of creative inspiration, fun new craft products to explore, dinner parties with friends and great meetings!
