Be Merry Tags - Scrap FX Design Team

December is here and we´re getting closer and closer to Christmas. I often start early with my Christmas crafting, but this year - well - you can say I am sadly behind with the Cardmaking... I kind of have hooked up on making tags - like these ones I´m showing here today with the Bauble E Merry Christmas & the Eat, Drink & be Merry Wordlet made for Scrap FX.

Creating cool tags is really simple when you have the right products to work with. It is a great way of using up small scraps of your favorite papers and you only need a few embellishments to compliment with. For the tag above I combined scraps of papers from both 7gypsies and Canvas Corp. They play well with the Merry Christmas Bauble from Scrap FX.

The chipboard bauble was sprayed with Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels to get the right shiny and festive effect. The silver mist enhance the chipboard and make the bauble really pop, don´t you think. The same color of mist where splattered all over the tag together with gold mist and white mist (from the same brand).

Now to my second tag. This one has the same scraps of papers but I have added more embellishments than on the first one - a delicate flower, a die cut leave and some cheese cloth works really well with the wordlet chipboard.

The dark red and black in the tag crave that the wordlet really stand out with a contrasting color. I tried to add the chipboard in it´s natural color, but thought it was to invisible. A coat of Antique Golden High Impact Metallic paint made the difference!

As you can see I also added a bit of paint around the edges of the tag, and splattered on white and golden mist to tie together the team of the two tags.
