Inspiration is Everywhere - 7 Dots Studio Design Team

We are heading towards darker and colder times up here in the North where I live. Like they say in Game of Thrones - Winter is coming. You might wonder how we can live up here in the cold, dark, godforgetten part of the world? Well the answer for that is air, crispy cold air, endless scenery, crisp white nature and silence. My layout for my October post at 7 Dots Studio take up on that - I made it clean and simply (my way - not that clean maybe).

I used a white cardstock as the base to symbolize the white nature. Splatters of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist & Baseboard Mist in blue tones ("Wave",  "Blue Bubbles", "Capri Blue", "Aquamarine") and stars stamped with the star stamp from Fortune Teller Clear stamp set create interest.

To create a texture I cut small pieces from 6x6 papers from the Fortune Teller Collection, that I stacked together with pieces of cardboard in between. A couple of tags, die cuts, stickers and a cool UmWowStudio flair finish of the layout nicely.
