Together tag {MMP Challenge}

I was really inspired by this months challenge at Mixed Media Place and decided to play along. I made this tag that somehow came to remind me of everything that is me - sort of heavy metal with a soft touch and broad wings...

I painted the tag with metallic paint in a greyish tone then started to add texture with Texture paste Sand, Heavy gesso & Modeling paste. 

I sticked down the flower with 3D Gloss gel and then added glass glitter and micro beads. 

The dragonfly was made by bending black Prima wire to the shape of 4 wings. Then I added chipboard wings from Scrap FX & a small Mecanical star from Finnabair.

All textures including the wings where painted with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam ("Pitch Black"), Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze ("Shinding" & "Icicle") & Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist ("Sterling"). The Glam gives a painted, almost glass like effekt and the Glaze a shiny effect that reminds of nailcoat.
