Roots & Wings Tray - Canvas Corp Brands

As you know October is the Breast Cancer Awareness month. For me this is a personal matter since my cousin died from Breast Cancer only 37-year-old. I always think of her as one of my Best Friends and I will never forget what she told me one of the last times I visited her. She told me that she had faith in her little girls growing up to be strong, independent women. She told me that even though she wouldn´t be there for them, she was certain of that she had given them the roots and a solid ground to stand on. That she had given them the self confidence that they needed to take the step and lift against the things they dream of. This tray is a tribute to her. The trey also will be submitted for Mixed Media Place Creative Gym Challenge this month.

The 7 Gypsies quote is just perfect for this tray.

The Cherry blossoms from Creative Embellishments where first painted with white High Impact paint, then with Glimmer Mist and then Glimmer Glam to add the final sparkle.

The Dragonfly was originally in a brass finish. To give it more interest it was painted with Glimmer Glaze on the wings and Glimmer Glam on the body.
