Flowers & Butterflies Card - IndigoBlu

I always have a couple of cards stocked up to use for unforeseen occasions. You know for spontaneous dinner parties (not that often...) or if you mom swings by and wonder if you have a card she could send to your aunt. Well this card was made just because. Just because I felt like doing a card and that my pile of unforeseen occasion cards was running pretty low...

The new Floral Vignettes mixed media papers from Indigo Blu is perfect for a card like this. I used a papers from the 6x6 stack and cut it into a smaller piece. The butterfly also came from one of the papers.

I used the Bubbles Background stamp from Indigo Blu together with embossing powder and Acrylic paint to make the background more interesting. I also added a bit of black gesso trough a stencil to get a grungy feeling.
