I always have a lot of textures and layers on my projects, so the October Challenge at the 7 Dot´s Studio blog was really a thing for me. I bought the entire Destination Unknown collection this weekend and couldn´t use them fast enough! Perfect for this project and perfect for this photo of my son Max.
First of all I prepped my base paper with clear gesso. After drying I added clear cracle trough a stencil. The fact that I had forgot to clean my stencil from the last use and the color left on it "blead" into the crackle paste gave it a rather cool dimension.
The square pattern was made with white sand structure paste and then I had the opportunety to try Texturez paste from Shimmerz and that gave my background last dimension.
I love how the page turned out. It´s a bit settled even though there is a lot off different mediums and layers on it.
