My son an I started a new routine. Not that we do this every day, but anyway... A couple of nights a week we play Monopoly. Just for a short while, half an hour or so. It´s a perfect way for us to socialize, and a good way of integrating maths in our "daily" life. The only problem is that the little man always get broke. He has an urge to buy streets, houses and hotels as soon he get money that covers it. Well, some day lesson will be learned. And luckily it´s just fake money we are dealing with...
I made this page for the April sketch challenge at Cocoa Daisy. I sprinkled some bluish spry mist from Maya Road on the white cardstock. Once that was dry I dabbed a redish JB dabber trough a stencil. To achieve the faded effect there is a easy way that I always use - gesso. I could not live without it! Then it´s just a matter of drying and adding embellishments and a card.
